Insurance will pay for your massage!

MANY PEOPLE DON'T KNOW THIS: insurance is not limited to emergency health treatments or regular doctors visits. Recieving preventitive care, such as massage therapy, is considered a medical necessity and certain insurance providers do cover massage therapy treatments.

Here in Texas, the VA, United Healthcare, and Aenta are the most supportive towards this cause.

At our clinic we accept the following insurances:

1. The Veterans Affairs

The VA authorizes 12 hours of massage therapy for qualified veterans. You need to be enrolled in VA healthcare to receive this benefit.

2. United Healthcare

3. Aetna provides

I don't have any of these insurances, what can I do?

Don't fret, the money you put towards yourself will not go to waste, because you can still submit to you insurance provider for reimbursement. You will have to pay your massage therapist first, ask them for a receipt, and then provide this to your insurance. Reimbursment time varies, but some insurances like Blue Cross Blue Sheild and Aetna will do this for you.

Additionally, you can use your HSA & FSA accounts to pay for massage therapy. Don't waste it on bandaids! You can use that money and put it towards your overall health.

Why come to our office?

ANY MASSAGE THERAPIST CAN TAKE INSURANCE. This is a good and a bad thing. Therapists coming out of school can still apply for an NPI number and become qualified to bill for insurance. This is great for the therapist, but not always for the patient. Just because a massage therapist can take insurance does not mean they have the necessary training to provide "treatments" that are geared towards chronic pain management. At our office, we have undergone extensive extra training outside of massage therapy school to be able to provide holistic and evidence-proven techniques to you so you can actually walk a path that is pain-free. Swedish massage is fantastic for relaxation, but it will not fix a chronically tight muscle. Neither will endlessly stripping a muscle with your forearm or elbow. Here, we use science to impact your muscels on a CELLULAR LEVEL so you can retrain your body to live pain-free. Here, we are CERTIFIED MEDICAL MASSAGE PRACTITIONERS.

We look forward to providing services for you. Your wellness is very important to us.
